Is there a trick to getting a child to sleep through the night?

My Daughter is almost 11 months old and she has yet to sleep throughout the night. Here newest thing is waking up at 3am and not wanting to go back to sleep.

limit nap time
snack before bed so she has a full belly
make sure shes comfortable
make sure her room is dark
if she wakes up during the night only change her if shes poopy otherwise when you take the diaper off it wakes them up even more
dont feed during the night even if you think they are starving they get enough to eat during the day if you keep feeding during the night then they will think they have to wake up to eat

these are all things i read online and worked for my son he was sleeping through the night by 1 month

Babies will sleep through when they are ready. My son started sleeping through at around 6 months old, my mam said I didn't until I was over a year old.

However, there are a few things to consider:
Is she waking for a feed/do you give a feed when she wakes?
Is she teething?
How long does she nap during the day?
Is she eating enough during the day?
