My Baby boy is 9 months old and He started doing this movement almost as if he's humping the bed and the pillow... as a dog would. Is this Normal? Please help me on what I should do about this odd behavior. Thanks :)

Yes, it is normal. It is him getting some muscle tone in his legs and stomach. It is him starting to get ready for crawling and walking. It is normal!!!

All normal and he's not humping, like others said he's getting ready to crawl. He's hitting his penis because he lacks dexterity and time to be more gentle. Lol. As boys get bigger and especially whentheymake the switch to big boy pants they will touch their penis. It does feel good I'm sure, but it's not really sexual it's more like hair twirling. In any case when they get big enough u just say "if u want to touch your penis go in your room to touch it". This teaches them privacy

Yes it is normal. It is his body, let him explore it. Don't teach him that touching his body is wrong. He is 9 months old for crying out loud. Not a teenage boy touching himself in front of you.

I think you are over thinking his actions. When they do that rocking motion, that is the child getting ready to start crawling. It's nothing sexual. As for him hitting his privates, he's 9 months old. Yes it is normal. There's not much you can do.

So Just let him hump the bed? What if he doesn't stop doing it... oh also when i change his diaper he trys to not only touch his penis... "I know this is Normal... but he hits it... is this normal...???

When my son was around 9 month old. He would be on his hands and knees rocking back and before i knew it he started crawling.

Do nothing. Just let him be. He is not doing anything wrong. Although we associate this behavior with sexual activities, they do not.
