does anyone happen to know how to get the sour milk smell off of clothes and sheets? Mason's bed sheets and pillow smell awful!

I use powder laundry soap with a smell like tropical breeze and also a fabric softener, let the machine fill and soak in the saop and water for about 20 minutes and than run the rest of the cycle, if still smell funny get color safe bleach and follow the same steps, don't dry them until the smell is gone or it may never go away. Wash in hot water with detergent - add 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar, let it sit for 1/2 an hour to an hour then start the washer. Don't add softener. IF you use softener - use it after the load has run its cycle.
