Jimmy Kimmel Pranks Kids... Shocking!!!!! Did you listen to the whole thing before posting it?

[deleted account] ( 11 moms have responded )

Did you hear what the last kids said??? I have my kids, big and small in the room when that little degenerate told Jimmy Kimmel to "Suck my balls!!" EXCUSE ME????? This is a family website? I spent 15 minutes talking to my kids about "Some parents..." and how inapropraite that was. It is very difficult in this day and time to try to teach our kids to be better people, responsible, decent and upstanding when this kind of garbage is out there. It was such a funny little video until that... and those parents thought that statement was so funny that they sent it in to the program. They weren't even smart enough to know how wrong that was Can you imagine having your kid say something like that and aplauding it. But the biggest shocker for me today was that this was on this website represented as quality befitting "Circle of Moms." Who blundered there?

This isn't a "family website" it is a "mom's website" a website for adult women, not children.

It is a website to talk about ourselves, our children, our spouses and other topics of interest, not meant to be "family entertainment".

I was just about to say the same thing Jenni. This is a site for moms. If I'm gonna watch a video on CoM's and it's something I haven't seen yet, I don't just sit here and watch it with my son on my lap. And personally, I did find the "suck my balls" comment funny. Why? Because it isn't my kid. I found the whole thing funny, to be honest. I also liked his Halloween gag, where he told parents to tell their kids they ate their halloween candy. Laughed my ass off.

I don't think it was out of line at all to post the Kimmel video here. It's called Circle of MOMS, not Circle of FAMILY. You asked "who blundered?" I say you did, by not censoring better. Just sayin'.

That's probably a good thing Teresa, trust me... you're not missing out on much. Unless you like arrogant, chauvanists. I'm sure he has his funny moments... but from what I've seen, the guy's a pretentious pig.

That's true Teresa, I never play clips while they're awake for that reason, as soon as they hear the audio they're right there looking over my shoulder. They're usually adult anyways, news and stuff but I never know what kid unfriendly things might be shown or said. I only show them videos I've seen myself first and pre-approved... you never know what you're going to get on the internet.

Get over it, life is way to long to worry about someone elses kid telling his parents to suck his balls, after what clearly upset the child.

Btw me and my older kids thought the whole clip was a hoot. ESP the last kid.

I think it was a bloomin riot and why because it wasn't my kids so I had a good laugh over it.

Yeah, I don't care for his show either but he does crack me up sometimes. I was just telling my husband the other day that I need to start watching him more, just so I can see the clips he shows of parent pranks lol

...and the fact it's from Jimmy Kimmel would make me highly suspect about its family friendliness. Ever see The Man Show Kid?

Didn't see the video clip, so have no clue what is going on.

While this IS a MOM'S site, I do think that sometimes a warning w/ posted video clips can be helpful. Words on a screen are easy to block out by not letting a kid look over your shoulder, but if kids are in the room during a clip... they're going to hear it. I never play clips anyway cuz then my kids always want to know what it's of. ;)
