It suppose to calm and relax them enought TO sleep. I don't think it really "worked" with either of my children. I think it was the whole bedtime routine that worked. Bath, bottle while rocking, bed. When my son got older it was bath, book and bed.

Might make her go a little deeper than sleep. A lot of Johnson and Johnson products, soaps, lotions, shampoo, etc, contain formaldehyde - finally declared a carcinogen. You might want to more - just type Johnson and Toxin into a search engine to see what is really in JNJ products.

I was using it and it would put my daughter to sleep right away, but it really dried out her skin so I switched to Aveeno baby and noticed her skin got much better but she wouldnt fall asleep...then I found Aveeno calming for baby which has lavender and vanilla...much softer scent than the johnsons one. She falls asleep quickly with this one as well and her skin is so soft!

Totally works with my son! and I love the smell of it! if my son were older he would be saying "mommy why are u using all of my lotion!?" lol

yes it does work. but it didn't work at first for my baby. she had to work into for about 3 days then it worked like a charm. what i found is that you have to be consistent with a bed time and the body wash will help tremendously.

It always calmed mine unless there was still a lot going on and then nothing calmed him down

I use that and I don't think it makes Giana sleepy. And she definitely doesn't calm down all that much. But I guess I am waiting for it too start working. So my answer is no.

oh yes...it is wonderful, after a nice warm bath and a lotion rub down...she was in laalaa land in 5 mins! works for me too!! lol!!

I find it works if I massage it onto my children, my boys love to have their legs and feet rubbed with it:)

my daughter loves that stuff!!! It does help but not all the time... I think it is mostly soothing smells for them which can help, but if they are not tired they will not go to sleep... We even have the calming baby powder... I got it just cuz I liked the smell of it lol...Good luck with it, you may just try it for a little while...

It used to work with my lil one, but it seems like not so much these days... Then again he started crawling and he was out of routine, and we are working to get him back on it. So hopefully it will start working again!!!

They also have the lavender bedtime baby oil..so if you massage a little onto the baby temples or chest...it works even better!!

I use it when I bathe my little one at night. I don't really think it helps. I think it all depends on how tired your little one is. If they are really tired the bath helps more to make them relax, and ready for bed. If they are wired nothing will help lol. But I really do not think it makes a difference what bath soap you use.

OMG i love the stuff my daughter goes to bed like a half hour afterwards. i use a lot of it during the bathtime as well as get it on her chest. just keep using it somedays my daughter doesnt go to sleep right away stick with it and it should work
