My Daughter is about to be 2 months and We tried about every formula since she was born. All she would consently spit it up like a fountain and diaharra, the latest formula we are on is Simalic Allmentum. Do they out grow this? and will this formula work ?

Lactose INTOLERANT. And you should discuss formula changes with your doctor before you make them. Switching formulas too frequently can really hurt their system.

My son was on nutramigen. He also had really bad reflux. I used gripe water with his formula and he spent a lot of time in his car seat because it kept him upright the best. When he was able to eat solids, we started with a little yogurt. That helped a lot. He also had really bad eczema. We didn't try soy (mainly because too many kids I knew ended up with peanut allergies), but if it works for your child stick with it. Another friend I know ended up using goat's milk from a very respectable farm. Her son is 9yrs now and doing great. My son is 6yrs old now and has no eczema, lactose intolerance, nor reflux. He still had some issues if he had too much dairy (more than 3 glasses of milk in a day), but we switched to raw milk a little over a year ago. No issues now. Sorry you have been going through it. It is rough, but stay strong and you will find what works best for you little one. Good luck.

My son had issues too. We swiched to Similac Soy and he's also was on a reflux med. He's 7 months now and off the meds, but still on Soy. He 's getting better about the spitting up. Good luck.

I had tried breastfeeding her but she wouldn't latch on then i got really sick ended up taking meds. The doctor has dignose her with lactose intorlant and will also be doing the acid reflex test.mfimla was one of the formulas that we had tried although it was emfilma gentleease for fussiness and gas, she was taking it pretty well then it started all over again. so far the formulas she has tried are
Godstart protect plus,
Goodstart Soy,
Enfimla Gentleease Fussiness and Gas,
and the now Simalic Alimentum.

Has the doc said she's lactose intolerant? I agree with Katherine that can also be just reflux. Everyone kept telling me my kid was lactose intolerant, start him on solids etc.. none of it worked he just had reflux.

Oh and make sure you keep her upright for 30 minutes after she eats and have the doctor check for acid reflux. Both of my daughters had that.

My daughter is 9 months and is lactose intolerant and has started eating whole milk yogurt just fine so the Dr thinks she will switch to whole milk at a year and be ok.

My daughter is 19mo and lactose intolerant. She will have to be on formula until she is 2. Same symptoms, throwing up, diarrhea, screaming etc.... I use Enfamil Prosobee.

Thank you for the correction. Also the doctor has been doing all the formula changes my daughter just doesn't hold it down. Hopefully this formula works this time.
