I'm kind of curious about how different some of us are about letting our babies taste different foods...
With my first child I was a little more picky, but with my 7 month old I let him try all sorts of things. Yes, he has had icing from cake and ice cream and tons of other things that I've heard some mom's say they wouldn't do. I know a lot of other mothers that do this as well. It's not like he sits and makes a meal of it, just some tastes to see how he reacts. Tonight he tried black olives and seemed to like them well enough. He gets all his fruits and veggies but I feel like if I shelter him from food that people say isn't good for him or things he shouldn't have then when he gets older he might indulge in them. So I want to teach my children that it is okay to have these things in small amounts. How does everyone else feel? Does anyone else let their child taste pretty much anything?
