I am thinking of naming my next boy Cavan. Don't really know anyone with that name. I don't want to ask family because we like to keep the name a secret until he's born. So honestly is it an okay name? We already have A and a B named children, now we need a C name. Cavan is irish and means handsome.

hi, i have never heard of that name and i really like it plus its a name what i dont think many people would of heard of. its a lovely name.

I have never heard that name before it is very cute. My nephews name is Chase and if I had had a boy I was going to name him Connor or Cory but I had a girl and named her Kara.

I have a friend named Kavan. He's 20 and up until now I had never heard the name again! I like it. Another 'C' name is Connor. But, Cavan is good!

Honestly, I don't really like it... I like the meaning though. I like names like Thatcher, Brycen, Ryder and names like that.. so if you don't like those names, then you know that my opinion is not one that you would want to pay any mind to. :)

I think that's a lovely name!  If you're unsure about it, you could keep looking at Irish names.  We're going with Colin, but there are some other lovely ones as well.

thats an awsome cale is a nice name for a boy to thats starts with a c to throw one at u but cavan is awsome
