My husband and I are down to 4 months left on my pregnancy and cannot seem to come up with a boys name. We got lucky when our daughter was born 17months ago being we never agreed on one then either. We have middle name ideas but just need first names...

We decided to name our son Campbell, but we also liked Hunter and Garrett. I also like the names Nolan and Garrison, but my husband didn't.

I love the names Aaron and Evan but when my sone was born neither suited him somehow so I named him Daniel Curtis. Draw up a short list and then see which fits?

My qualifiers for a cute name are 1. something people have heard of before 2. can pronounce 3. can spell 4. isn't everyone else's name.
Check the top 100 list and look at the very bottom of the list.

we went with names that were what we thought unique but our first Child Aiden happened to be the top name o 2004...and then we had another boy we named him Tristan and there are very few others with this name where we live. we tried to go with Celtic/European style names...

I need to know the middle name. Gotta make sure it goes well when you are screaming at him. (Ex: Michael Joseph you come here this instant!)

My suggestions are Tynan, Watson, and Clark. Go figure, they are family names. Good luck. If by chance it's a girl, I really like Maria......:)

I am scheduled for a c-section on January 5th. It's a boy, our second, and we still haven't decided on a name yet. We have Adam, Ian, Ryan, Benjamin, and Scott on our list. I just put a few more from other posts on there to consider. I know we won't make a final decision until we meet him anyway, but it's nice to have a few to kick around. Our first son is 3 1/2 now and he's Nathan. We knew at 20 weeks he was a boy, went through 32 hours of labor and a c-section....he wasn't named till we were in recovery!

Have you tried looking at both sides of your family? I gave all three of my children family names. You can change them around. For example: I had a great, great Uncle Nolyn. I loved the name, but gave it to my daughter. I changed the spelling to Nolynn. Another example is that my father's name is Roger. The Gaelic equivalent is Rory. So my eldest son's name is Rory. As a bonus, my Mother-In-Law's maiden name is Ririe which turned out to mean 'son of Rory'. You can come up with a lot of meaningful names by going through your family tree.

After much consideration, we named our son Trevor. Cute, easy to "grow into", won't sound silly when he is an adult, and it isn't made up!

My husband and I were thrilled to find out we were havimng a girl because we couldn't for the life of us agree on a boy's name. I really like Noah, but he hated it. I also like Tanner and Jaxon.

I like Mays, Milo, Samson, Quentin, and Paris (my maiden name but good for a boy or a girl!). I have two girls, so have thought about boys names a lot, but not been able to use one yet. Good luck!

we waited until we saw the baby. not a lot of people know you have up to 30 days to name your son, so worst case, you'll take him home and name him there. both of you make a list of 10 the let the other one get five vetoes. take your list of 10 remaining names to the hospital and let him tell you which one fits.

We wanted something different for our boys too (named them Kylen and Brendan). Some other names we considered are: Asher, Tristan, Shale, Kale, Darien, Alaric, Brandon, Rylan, Hunter... that's all I can think of at the moment. Maybe one of them will strike your fancy :)
