looking for work at home

Hello everyone, I want to work from home, but most companies want a big upfront payment or they require a lot of time. Does anyone out there know of any companies that they could recommend? I was wondering if anyone knows anything about avon? Also, any companies that people have tried and not liked and, reason why, would be helpful also. Thank you very much!

I'm not sure if I've already answered another post by you regarding working at home or not. Anyway this is my story, about a year ago I wanted to stay home and be with my kids more. I was tired of working for someone else. I also wanted to show my kids the fun and wonderful areas all over the world. In my husbands and mine search we found a company called YTB. With a low sign up cost (less than $500, and only $49.00 monthly maintained fee) you can own your own online travel booking site. This site is just like (or in my opinion better than) orbits or expedia. It is fully functional, and you have staff support for customer service. So basically you tell people about your site they book their flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises and much more through you site and you get 60% of the commission. There are also so many other travel benefits and education that comes with this company. It helps me feel confident in selling and promoting this company. Truly, though it's not a hard sale, most people really enjoy traveling and would love to hear about good deals. I know that direct sales and networking isn't for everyone.
