I already have a first name picked out for my baby girl, which is Sophia. Although, I'm torn between middle names. I'm not really looking for a plain-jane name. Something a little more unique, and something that rolls right off the tongue. Here are some names I have picked out, but I'm not too sure. Although, I am completely open for suggestions!!!

1. Sophia Francesca.

2. Sophia Vivienne.

3. Sophia Félicienne (Feh-leh-ci-enne)

Please and thank you!

I love love love the name Francesca for a first name.....it is beautiful....and she most likely won't be in a classroom with 3 other Francesca's, but it may happen with the name Sophia which is much more common. have you ever considered Francesca Sophia? or Francesca Vivienne? don't get me wrong...i love the name sophia, if you don't mind that it is very popular right now.

its funny . . . i read one of your other mom's posts and I loved the name reversed.. . Francesca Sophia. It sounds so . . . girlie. . . princess-like. . and like she said . she'll be the only girl to turn around when the teacher calls her name, unlike lots of other names these days. She'll be an original.

Sophis Felicienne rolls of my tounge the best, but I was going to suggest Grace, which seems to be a very popular/common middle name of girls with the first name Sophia.
Good Luck with youir decision :)

I had several names picked out for all my kids which was a good thing too cuzz it seemed the name I chose in the beginning was never the one that I thought suited him/her after I laid eyes on them and held them for the first time. If I were to choose between the middle names that you have already listed it would Francesca, however, I also like the name Sophia Renee and Sophia Aliece (A-lease).. Wish you luck with your search and congrats on your new upcoming arival!!

I like Sophia Grace or maybe Sophia Gabrielle. I love for family names to be passed down. Congratulations on your baby girl and good luck with you name search!! My daughter's name is Ann-Ashleigh Montgomery Gray. The Montgomery was her father's middle name and her great-grandfather's middle name. She hated it in kindergarten, but loves it now!!!

My daughter's name is Nikita Angela Leigh. My husband picked her first name and i picked her middle names. And there are not any Nikita's in her class or the school, so she is the only Nikita. I was wondering if Sophia Leigh would be different too.

When we thought we were having a girl I had picked the name Sophia Renee. The word Soph means Wisdom in Latin.

I'm always a fan of original names. It sets your kid apart from the other " Tom , Dick, Harry's, Stephanies, Taylor's, etc... the family tie-in in your son's name is neat too..unfortunately we didn't get lucky enough that our last names would work like that...we had choices of "wilson, jenkins or mumford"- to mix with Kuranda... none of which would've made good middle names in my opinion...we actually have a Cadence on my husbands side! Our kids are Wyatt & Nickolas.

My daughters name is Cadence Chylese (Sha-lese like the actress Charlize Theron)... I love the name Cadence and my fiancee wanted Chylese so we decided what her nickname would be and I liked Cady better then Shelly!! And I thought Cadence Chylese sounded better than the other way round :) My son's middle name is my mother-in-laws maiden name... McLean just to keep it in the family :)

Personally I've always like the name Haley or Hayley or Haylie....What about Sophia Lynn or Sophia Leigh, Sophia Kellie...maybe check into your family roots, or use a name of a grandparent or other sibling. We have some girls who were given their dads middle name, since they will most likey lose their last names when they get married one day... .I would choose a middle name that is shorter than the first name it will roll of the tongue easier or flip the ones you've actually listed.... Vivienne Sophia is actually easier to say than the flip version...plus you could call her Vivi for short.... It will be easier to say. I always watch what the initials spell out too. Then again if her last name becomes "Taylor" like yours she may not want SHT as initials on her suitcase...looks like....anyways, maybe Hayley is not a good choice! If you really cant decide, you can always give her a 2nd middle name.... Sophia Lynn-Marie or something..just make sure you have a clear pronunciation and spelling of it so you can have it noted on the birth certificate :)

Hi Gabi

Of your choices, I like Francesca. However, I have a 2 year old Sophia and we gave her the middle name Sarah (means Princess). This was actually cos it was my birth name (I was adopted) but everyone loves the two names together even if they don't know the reason. Incidentally, albeit Sophia isn't an uncommon name, I've yet to come across another one of a similar age to my daughter in my neck of the woods!

Of your three Francesca sounds best with Sophia. I read a lot of the replys and I think Rose would be lovley. I also think Elizabeth or Christina would be nice, they are traditional names like Sophia. Just make a list of the suggestions and say each with Sophia and see how you like the way it sounds.
