I'm interested in attending some type of mom and tot groups. My daughter is now 4 months old and I would love to be able to get together with other moms and their children. Any suggestions on groups or programs that would be good ??

Definitely check out www.meetup.com. That's where I found my mom's group and I love it! My son and I have both made a lot of wonderful friends.

I am a part of a mom's group I found at meetup.com at that website you can look for groups to participate with who also have children & areclose to you. I've really enjoyed the group I got into. We do field trips together, go to lunch, and in general just hang out. It's been great for my kids & myself! Check it out.

I've been looking around for things to do with my 19 month old too. Everything that has interested me cost money. I know some church's do play days that are free but I'm not much of a church goer. I've looked online for local play groups with other moms taking turns at each others houses, but the information wasn't really updated. So let me know if you find something interesting and inexpensive.
