How long after your mucus plug broke or came out, did it take you to go into labor?

My mucus plug came out on a Friday afternoon and I delivered our son that Sunday morning at 5:26am :) I think that it varies from woman to woman.

i think it was 5 days, can be anywhere between hours and 2 weeks. hope you have a good labour and enjoy your new bub
I hope so to because the crazy part I am already 3.5 cm dilated and when they hooked me up to the machines that keep track of the fetal heart rate and your contraction, for some reason I don't feel them. So I hope I know when I am going into labor.....
I was 3.5cm from 33w until i delivered at 39w4d with my first. In my previous post i state that i was in labor at 33w and i was for 4 days. I didn't lose my plug at 33w but i had a sweep done at 37w and at 38 weeks and was induced at 39w4d. With my second i was 3.5cm at 36w check up and had a sweep done at 37w and again at 38w. Everybody's body takes things differently. A friend of mine had 2 sweeps before her 40th week like i did and she didn't go in labor. They did the gel at 41w and again at 42w...she went after the 3rd gel at 43w. She was 2cm at her 36w apt.

I lost mine 2 weeks before i was induced at 39w4d. I had 2 membrance sweeps and didn't go naturally. I was indcuded becuase i had preterm labor at 33w and was in sever pain from the 4 days of back labor. With my second it was the same story without the preterm labor. Had 2 sweeps lost the plug both times the first time and iw as induced with the 2nd because my husbadn is miltiary and we wanted to make sure he was here. She was born at 39w:)

with my first it was the same day even though my midwife said it was nothing and I had plenty of time (my son was a month early). with my second the mucous plug never came out. The website I read said that it should be within two weeks.

Mine came out in small pieces over the course of a few days. it was coming out up until the day i delivered. They had to break my water because i was in labor and puking. They sent me home 3 times the week I had my son because I wasn't dilating past 2.
