As of right now, I am 36 weeks pregnant. On Monday, I noticed that I lost my mucus plug. I had a feeling that it was happening soon, not sure how but I just knew that it was getting REALLY close to time for things to get started.
As for my question, I don't remember losing my mucus plug with my first pregnancy. So how long was it after you had the Bloody Show did you go into labor?

I meant to come on here this morning but I got so busy with getting my daughter ready for preschool that I completely forgot!
Last night at around 6 pm, I started having contractions (and believe me, these did NOT feel like regular Braxton Hicks contractions). I went to the bathroom and noticed some spotting so hubby and I dropped off our daughter at my sister's house and headed to the hospital. We ended up there at around 7 pm. They checked my cervix then and said that I was not dilated at all. Well by this time, contractions were about 5 minutes apart and really strong. They checked cervix again at around 9 and sure enough, I was dilated 1 cm! Contractions finally stopped at around 1 or 2 this morning and I hadn't dilated anymore than that.
So no baby yet but the doctor said that he will be here within the next two weeks!

Gosh, Lacye, I really don't remember...LOL...not that I'm old, just a mom of teenagers!
Anyway, best of luck, and keep us posted on your progress! Happy Baby!!!

I went to the hospital at least one time with my second thinking I was in labor. In fact, when I started losing my plug, it was clear. I thought my water broke or was leaking. If you have any concerns, go.

Ok. That actually makes me feel a little better. I noticed some spotting earlier and am still thinking about going to the hospital just in case, but I'm not having any pains. This just started about 30 minutes ago.

It was about 2 weeks for me, but the mucous plug can start coming out, and just come out in pieces. Mine kept coming out every couple of days. Also, it can rebuild itself.
