You can't really give her anything. :( If her throat is really sore, maybe some Tylenol or ibuprofen to help ease the soreness....otherwise a humidifier and a little vicks baby rub on her chest to help keep her nose open at night. If you can slightly elevate the end of the crib where her head is (thin books or pillow under her mattress) that can help keep her nose draining a little better too hope she feels better quick!

I didn't think about it being on the label. I was curious so I looked and the honey we have in the cabinet says 1 too. Kate do you live in the US? Maybe it's different depending on where you live.

*shrug* Most honey labels say 2. I'd go with the doc on that, I guess.

A humidifier should help. A nice warm bath will help her sinus' drain. And to help clear out her lungs, bundle her up and take her outside. Being inside all winter with dry recycled air isn't good for any one. I bundle my daughter (14 months) up and let her play in the yard for a short time. Also slice ginger root and boil in water to make tea then add honey.

honey and vinegar, equal parts out on throat..the inside not the out...LOL (that means swallow.)
