Thank you for all your replies..Glad to know it is normal, I am very lucky she is a beautiful, happy and healthly baby girl. She is 3 months old and 16 lbs , she wears 6-9 month clothing already...lol...so no worries there! She eats often during the day so I guess thats why she doesnt need it at night time. Again thank you all!

most midwives and health visitors, say feed on demand, so if she content, then go with her routine.

my son was the same way! I used to brag to everyone that he was sleeping through the night but then as he got bigger he started to get hungry, so he started to wake up. But every baby is differant so this could coninue, its perfectly normal, not to mention wonderful! And as for not being hungry when she wakes up, as long as she is still gaining the weight she supposed to, thats fine as well, be glad she is such a happy baby!

My oldest (2 1/2 now) slept 12+ hours from about 1 week on. I would nurse her around 10pm put her to bed and she would sleep until 10 or so the next morning. She did all of her eating during the day and didnt seem to need to eat at night. She still sleeps 12 or more hours a night. My youngest (8 months) only slept 2-3 hours at a time and really needed to eat in the middle of the night she didnt sleep through the night until she was 7 months and now she only sleeps 8 hours at a time. It just depends on the baby, however most babies should be able to go through the night without a feeding by 6-7 months.

My children slept through the night, but they did let me know they were up with a little whimper of some sort...I think you should count it a blessing.
NO worries!

My daughter did the same thing, she was also breastfed and would sleep almost 12 hours at night. this lasted until she cut her first tooth, then we have not had 3 full nights straight since then. She does though only wake once.

It so lovely! :] but when jackson is up hes ready to eat. he cries when i change his diaper bc hes ready to eat right now!! lol!! Ive always been told that they will tell you when they are hungry!! so i wouldnt worry about her sleeping through the night and now eatting, she;ll eat when shes ready to eat!! Good luck!

My youngest daughter (who is now 17 months-old) has been sleeping through the night since about the age of 2 months. She has a lovely disposition and is a happy healthy baby. My now 5 year old was the exact opposite and she is the all out Diva! Enjoy the rest it allows you to be a more productive mommy.

My daughter slept through the night at a very early age, enjoy it! she obviously tells you when she is hungry and she is obviously happy, enjoy this stage, my daughter will be 2 this month and she has started throwing horrible tantrums, I loved my daughter being such a "great" babys as everyone told me, now she is great except with me it stinks!
Have fun with her now until you have to start putting her in time out!

You have nothing to worry about! My son has been sleeping through the night since he was 4 or 5 week old, and even now (he's a year old) doesn't want to eat for an hour or 2 after he wakes up. if your daughter was hungry you would know.
I agrere with Angela, if she is loosing a lot of weight or not gaining any then that would raise a red flag and you should be concerned. Do what you think is right and what you think needs to be done for your child. Mothers intuition!

Wow. I am speachless! My 2 yr old still wakes up in the middle of the night. My 8 week old nurses at least 3 times in the midle of the night till morning. You are really lucky! She looks healthy in the picture so I guess no worries. Dehydration and weight loss would be my concern. If she is having many wet diapers than she is certanly fine. You are a blessed woman, enjoy her.

Hi Lindsay, She must be nursing long enough to get the fatty milk and feeling full. My daughter was nursed and slept through the night. I at first checked on her because my son did not sleep through the night but he had acid reflux. I would just say that you have no worries really but if you have any concerns left call the peds' office and ask them questions. Take care and enjoy.

Hi Lindsay,
You are one lucky woman my daughter was bottle fed and did not sleep through without a 10pm until she was about 7 months. Im sure if you little girl was hungry she would let you know, she sounds like a very contented baby sounds like your doing grand job she just might not have huge appetite. She might stock up during the day my little girl was not a great drinker in the day but would drink tons at night.

first question: YES! second question: you have good milk. You have got to be the luckiest mom around!!! Take advantage of a very easy baby and love the time she is giving you to sleep. Not 1 baby is the same...no book will tell you exactly what each baby is going to do for you. She is a very healthy normal child!!!

Dont worry! Be happy that she is like that! babies cry when they are hungry, so maybe she just isn't hungry. If she was not gaining weight, or rapidly loosing weight, then I would be concirned, you might just be a lucky mom!

Lucky, lucky woman lol. My son was sleeping through at about 6 weeks. I was breast feeding him too. Don't worry about it. Be happy you get some sleep. My youngest is a year on jan 17th and still not sleeping through. If it worries you that much though just talk to your doctor.
