What hospital did you deliver at? Do they just let every random idiot take babies home??? Irritating question...

Please visit the doctor ASAP... My baby when she was born did not pass stool for 72 hours post which doctors examined her tummy which was bloating and immediately advised us that she meds to be operated coz her intestines that connected to the anus has a nerve which pushes the stool down and in my baby's case that nerve was there but the ganglion cells were absent due to which she could not pass her stool from below. Doctors made a temporary passage near her navel and then 2 surgeries were performed on her in a span of 1 year.. So in total 3 surgeries my baby went through... Now she is 21months old and all hail and hearty.. But plz check with doctor... Coz this problem is called Hirscsprung disease and it can happen to a new born and toddlers, infants even adults too... So go and get him examined. I have no intentions to scare you but just thought if my experience could be of some help to anyone. Take care

This does not make sense. If a baby is not urinating or stooling for 3 days, then they certainly are not eating fine. Any medical condition causing these problems would not be consistent with a good eater.

I haven't seen another post from her 'Little Miss', so I'm hoping she took the advice and went it.

It did concern me that this post was started about an hour after the first one, but maybe COM 'ate' her other post on her computer and when she saw the responses she went to the hospital. This is one of those few posts that I would really like an update on.

If she has not peed in three days that is Not normal! If she has not pooped in three days give it another 2 and if she does not then my suggestion is go to the dr's but regardless you should go to the dr's in regards to the peeing matter!

You already were answered in your first post. The not pooping can be normal, but if your baby really hasn't peed in 3 days.... take that baby to the hospital immediately. 'Normal' peeing at that age is at least 6-8 times in 24 hours. If you aren't getting that... your baby is in potential danger for serious, serious issues and maybe death.
