i have 2 children and both had the same problem, the reason i dont know but i my doc said it was nothing to worry about. babies hands and feet are generally colder than other parts of their bodies as they are uncovered more. the way to tell if your baby is too hot or too cold is by placing your fingers at the bottom of their neck.

hope this is of some help and comfort to you x

Yes it is normal. I remember my daughters hands were always cold. I never worried to much about her hands as I did her feet. If her feet were cold I put something warmer on or socks on her feet. My daughter was and still is very thin. She is 7 now and has very little body fat. Her hands are still cold.

My other daughter was a little chunkier as a toddler and even now. She very rarely has cold hands.

Yes, it's completely normal. It's because their litlle body temp. is not regulated yet. Just as long as their core is reg temp. and the hands and feet are not turning purple and blue.

I went through the same thing with my youngest daughter. Her hands and feet were always ice cold. There is a name for it, I can't remember it but, it is completely normal. It is your babies way of keeping her heart warm. My doctor assured me, it is ok.

Yes this is normal. My daughter (who is now 6 1/2 years old) spent all of her first six months with little socks on her hands. You won't find a single picture of her before that age without her "mittens". Don't worry, she is normal. Heck, I'm 31 and I STILL have cold hands most of the time! :-)

When my daughter was born her hands and feet stayed cold all of the time,i had even taken her to the doctor's he told me to just keep something on hers hands and feet. But they found nothing wrong.Stay calm, and remember she has a warm heart. My daughter's hands and feet stay cold to this day
