My 3 year old boy gets constipated on average once a week, this has been going on since birth, the doctors say he just has a sensitive stomach. Does anyone else have this problem? It breaks my heart to see him in pain like that!

My boyfriend suggested pedialyte... If your doctor is not able to suggest something then I would probably look at getting a second opinion.

My daughter (now 20 yo) had the same problem and because I couldn't find an answer, she now has hemmoroids (that bleed occasionally). We tried colace (soap in a pill) but it didn't really help. I'm thinking now in hindsight that an enzyme for the gut might have helped.

The hardest thing is so much as made him sick, he won't eat anything, and even when he is constipated nothing will help, he drinks prune juice willingly. But it gets so bad, we have to give him an enima.

Try and see if he will eat raisins, That helped my kaili. Also Juicy juice grape and I know it is hard but see if you can get him to eat veggies. I had the hardest time getting my girls to eat them.
