My 6 week old is having a hard time switching from limilac soy to enfamil gentlease, does she just not like it?

We thought she was lactose intolerant. But our doctor says most babies aren't. Soy was making her constipated and really gassy. We switched her to enfamil gentlease because of it. She hates it, she will cry and try to refuse the bottle. I still breastfeed at night but my breastmilk makes her really gassy too. Does the new formula just take some getting used to or does she just hate it? Im a new mom!

Not sureif you have tried this or been doing it but when changing formulas for babies you need to do it very gently as they don't like change. For the first 5 days do i part of the new formula and 3 parts of the old formula. Then the next five days do half and half, then the next 5 days do two thirds new formula and one third old formula and then after that just use the new formula. This way it is gentle, the baaby learns to accept it and if there are any problems with an allergic reaction or anything you can pick it up early. Good luck.
