It something she will outgrow when her bladder and muscles mature. Many kids are not night trained till they are much older. This isn't something she can control and there is nothing you can do to prevent it. Simply put her pull ups for older kids that fit like underwear and stop stressing about it.

Many children are not dry at night until older--two of mine not until age 10. Their muscles simply develop more slowly and they cannot control this. You can try limiting fluids and getting them up at night--it may help a little. It did not help mine. You can also try the buzzers that go off when they start wetting. However, what worked best for us was to simply put them in Goodnites at night, not make a big deal out of it, and wait patiently. One magical month, they were fine!

I had the same problem with my daughter, i started by limiting her drinks in the evening. i wouldn't give her a drink for an hour before she went to bed. I would make sure that she went to the toilet before she went to bed and would then wake her to use the toilet again when i was going to bed. Once she was used to this routine and started to wake her self i used a star chart to encourage her to stay dry. If she could earn the full 7 stars for a week then she would get a treat and after a month of being dry i bought her a new mattress for her bed :)

Try waking her up gently about 1 1/2 to 2 hours after she has fallen asleep and walk her to the bathroom and have her try to go. My daughter would get into such a deep sleep that she wouldn't even be aware that she needed to pee and after a couple of weeks of doing this, she started getting up on her own.
Also is it light enough for her to see well to go to the bathroom? Maybe she needs a flashlight or a nightlight in the bathroom. Also look to see if there are any scary shadows. I used to pee the bed because I was afraid to go into the bathroom because of a devil looking shadow.
