You should definitely call the Dr. don't take any chances for infection. Better safe then sorry, I have 4 boys so have been thru that before.

This happened to my son when he was a little younger. He had a yeast infection b/c the new person that was changing his diaper would wipe his bottom THEN his penis. Unfortunately it took my son getting a horrible yeast infection for that person to realize what they were doing and stop. The doctors gave us a cream for it. We cleaned the area well at every diaper change and bath and applied the ointment. It went away after a week and a half or so.
It sounds to me that's what it is, but it may be something entirely different. I would take him to the doctor to be sure. And I wouldn't wait until the 31st b/c it doesn't take long for things like that to get even worse. The sooner, the better. Hope your little one gets better! Good luck!

I would call the doctor. It could be a yeast infection (yes, boys get them too), a diaper rash or a urinary tract infection. Both of my boys got yeast infections on their little peeps a couple of times and the doctor prescribed a topical anti-fungal. In the meantime, try to keep his diaper changed as much as possible to keep moisture off of it. If you are brave try leaving his diaper off for a little bit. Hope this helps.

I would definatelty call the dr. before the situtation gets any worse, it could be a urinary tract infection that is causing it and it could get alot worse.
