My poor little boy has a bad cold and I really want to help him get over it. Are there any home remedies I can use to help him?

lots of attention ...chicken soup, rest, baby med. for fever, more rest , dont take him out and about that will only make it worse, you just have to nurse him back to gud health its part of being a baby or child .

prop his bed up on one end too (i put phone books under the end of my son's crib)- the vapor bath works well along with vicks baby rub before bed with a humidifier and saline nose drops...tylenol or motrin if he's super cranky (may have a sore throat). good luck and hope he feels better soon!

Yes I forgot to write humidifier..that always worked good with my son..and my doctor told me when you use a humidifier make sure all that steam is going right on them. So if you put it on a stand.

Yes, use the saline spray and clear his nose with the aspirator and use a cool mist humidifier at night. You can also use Baby Vicks on his chest to help sooth him and calm him a bit.

Johnson & Johnson vapor bath. Suction his nose. Nurse him as much as you can if you are breastfeeding.

When my son is is all stuffed up I go into the bathroom with him and just run a hot shower so all the steam can help him out. Sometimes motrin can help them out to so they feel more comfortable..Also keeping him upright..So prop his mattress, I usually just stick his bin of wipes and thats good.

its tough with babies cause u cant give the medicines that u would normally. the best i can tell u is to use saline spray and suck out his nose to help him breathe better. also try a humidifier to try to clear out some of his congestion
