my 9 month old has tantrums.. any ideas.

i have a 9 month old girl. if you walk away when she dont wont you to she screams n crys kicking her feet n everything.if you dont give her something she wonts or if you say no to her, she will head but you or/n slap you in the face. what do i do? i need help to get her to stop these tentrums. any ideas?

yeh my son's one next week and does the same, i leave him to it, do what i gotta and when i come back he comes over and we have a kiss and a cuddle and then we play. but only once he's calm!

haha - yeah my 7 month old has already started too. We blame the fiery temper on the red hair! We just try to calm her without giving her what she wants. If she keeps going we put her to bed and leave her for a little while before trying again (similar to the other suggestion I guess). Best of Luck with it all :)

thats right the sooner the better not only are you right but you are the mother and you get the stress at the end of the day when everone is gone and thats not right or respectfull of you

yeah this is my first n everyone loves to give her what she wonts cas she gets so happy but in the end of the day it is not good cas then she wonts to get what she wants all of the time n now i need to get her out of this habbit before it gets worse.

i have gone throught this myself and my father tought me to walk away and ignore it and if that doesn't work tell them it is nap time and put them to bed and say i love you sweetdreams we will have a yummy snack when you wake up it worked for me through a lot of persistance
