my baby hates hearing other babies!

My 10 month old baby girl is so perfect! She loves to be in public, and she never has a problem. The past month or two we have been haning out with another couple that has a 4 month old and another that has a 9 months old. The other babies want to play with her to they scream out of excitment and my daughter cries like there is no tomorrow. She cries and has big tears and its all when another baby makes sounds. Is this normal? How can I introduce her to other babies and let her know its ok?? IM WORRIED!

my daughter did that once at the same age a little boy yelled happily near her and scared the bejeebers outa her i found she prefered little girls more when she was younger now she has no problem

it is normal,you have to go at a slow pace with your little girl, because it is something new to her, and she is not use to it, so just ease into it a little at a time, and she will over come this in time. Our little girl was scared too when our two boys would try to play with her and make noises she has never herd before.
