I need help. My little girl is constipated and I have already tried applesauce, apple juice, and prune juice, and prune baby food. Anything else I can try?

It's happened to my 3-1/2 years son in month or two months time. Fig, can be bought from your local chemist. He had this again two weeks ago, my sisters said give him 2.5ml olive oil; I gave him and he pooped next day after a week... Strawberries, baked beans and mash potatoes worked too.. With lots of non frizzy and sugary drinks...avoid sugary food until she has one..,good luck

If it's bad and been several days, glycerin suppositories or a few days of PEG 3350 laxative mixed into food or drink will help, i hate giving suppositories though!

If breastfeeding, breastfeed more often. I would also cut out any solids for a couple of days her tummy may be having digesting it if you've just started.

Apples and anything apple is actually binding. Use pears instead, and keep up the prunes. i liked to mix prune baby food with plain yogurt. Worked great.
