Buy some mini bagel's and freeze them...then when they are frozen let her knaw on them buy the time they thaw out they are mushy and not a choke hazzard.

well motrin is always good but I like to use the flavor ice... Ice pops... You can buy a crap load and trade them out when they start to melt...the cold feels good my kids got through with those and if they punch a hole in it you don't have to worry about what is inside it!!! and it's cheaper!!!!

I found this awesome stuff, if you want a more natural remedy.  Its called Gripe Water.  You can get it at walgreens or vitamin cottage.  Its all natural and organic.  Try it.  My baby loves it

Teething powders seem to work better than gel... NO idea why! I guess I didn't have a "teether terror" though. My little girl is starting to get her molars and I found that putting a metal spoon in the refridgerator and giving her THAT to chew helped, because none of the teething rings get to the back of her mouth!

My little boy would love to chew on a toothbrush....he was not a 'terrible teether' though. The other ladies have already given my other suggestions! Good luck!

My son got his first 2 teeth at 4 months and by 9 months had 8 teeth. With him, I found that the Tylenol and Orajel work well...you can also give infant Motrin at night and it lasts for 6 hours instead of the 4 like Tylenol. I also found the frozen teethers to help too! Just to let you know..I found that though the teething biscuits did help to relieve the pain b/c if the pressure it allowed him to put on his gums...chuncks of the teething buscuits would break off when they got really soggy and at times he would choke on them. Good luck..it is such a tough and trying time for them...and you too!

Many of the teething tablets have a high amount of caffeine.  Beware.

I used the teething tablets. They are all natural and really do the trick. I bought them at Wal-Mart .

Yes, I forgot about the teething tablets, and the teeth actually came in quicker by using them instead of the Oralgel!!!! Had to laugh when I saw Elvira's tequila response. I would not use this one, because then you run the risk of having your child like alcohol.......too much!!!! (No offense intended Elvira!!!!)

If you are daring- because it hurts.....take your finger and put pressure on the bump. My boys loved this!!!!! It hurts if there are other teeth

Tylenol, and mostly ORAJEL! Razz-berry teething binki's (only have been able to find them at Meijers) also Healthy Times teething biscuits (found at Meijers also). Another thing I do for my son is freeze all his binki's, he seems to really like that, and it soothes him.
