Just finished cleaning it off my own walls, arm n hammer toothpaste works great on painted walls just scrub with a tooth brush, still working on getting it out of his favorite stuffed animal!

Anytime my daughter did that I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it either came all the way off or most of the way, just depends on how long it has been there, but thats on doors and walls. Hope this helps!

buy a magic eraser(maybe a couple) and put dawn dishsoap on it(works great on toys and plastic)..lots of scrubbing but it will come off ..and as strange as it may sound...windex with dishsoap works good too on wood floors(but make sure it doesnt warp your floors first)... my little boy did the same thing......daddys marker got mixed in with his and he colored my floor and his arm and some of his toys.

on hard surfaces use clorox spray and a magic eraser. works great

Rubbing alcohol and baby wipes. Baby wipes will take red Jello out of white carpet. I *LOVE* baby wipes. :)

Off bug spray will work on most things to get the permanent out. My kid did the same thing. She colored on my mom's rug and it took the marker out of that and it cleaned it off of our wood floor and table. It did not discolor the rug or the wood.

I've been told that hairspray is good at getting inks out??? Perhaps give that a try?

Baby wipes work exceptionally well on skin, I'm not sure for objects.

I did the same thing when i was little...Sharpies just fascinated me! Good luck with your dilemma...The best advice I can give you is to keep them put up!

Methylated spirits works - my daughter got into a black permanent marker too, and this worked for us. I tried almost everything too.......

If it is a Sharpie go to their website they have solutions for taking it off many surfaces or go the manufacturers website for the marker they often have advice. Good luck to you.

nail polish remover will work on the plastic it will work on the wook too but it will take off the stain

Try rubbing alcohol or terpentine for the fabrics.



For stained and varnished wood, try Oops, Goof-Off or Lift Off. These strong solvent cleaners can remove the marker without damaging sturdy varnish. Dampen the stain and gently rub with a rag dampened with the cleaner. Treat until the stain is gone. Follow the safety precautions for these cleaners, provide plenty of ventilation, and do not use them near open flame.



If the cleaner dulls the varnish, renew it with wipe-on oil finish like tung oil or any other type. These will stick to the existing finish, and you can control the application with a rag. Most finishes are gloss or satin; pick the shine to match your existing finish. You can also add extra coats for more depth and gloss.



If the marker stain has penetrated into the wood, you will need to refinish or replace the wood.

I'm sorry I can't help you with your dilemma. I have been through this with all 5 of my older sons (can't wait to do it with the sixth-lol). Best advice I can give is to make sure the markers are put up high and live with the ink stains until your child outgrows this faze. Best wishes.
