Yes it is scary. And it seems that as soon as they hit high school time flies even faster. My son graduated from high school last year and now in college. My daughter will be entering her senior year of high school in August she's my youngest. So yeah it's hard at times watching them grow up. Because I still see the babies they were.

My daughter is as well. She still looks like my baby that use to puke on me, cry for me to hold her and change her diaper.

It is difficult to watch children transition to these new areas. My son is a junior next year and my oldest daughter is going to middle school. It's a scary and exciting time for us all..........

Yes I know that feeling, gone through it 3 times and the 4th one starts 9th grade this
fall. It was easier each time. But the first two to go our girls that was hard for me. She was fine I was the wreck. You will find out that you are still needed only on a different level. Still be the parent it's not friend time yet, after they graduate high school and are off to college, then you are mom, dad, friend. Be the parent who is at all the sports they are in. That way you can sit back and see them and watch how they interact without being all up in their business. You'll figure it out. But wait till they drive off for university, i was lost for weeks and i still had 3 at home. Go figure, we raise them to grow up and take care of themselves but when those "thoughtless" kids go ahead and do that we want them to stay little. And as i tell my kids "i don't care if you are 112 years old you will always be my babies!!!!!!!!. ;)

I feel your anguish, lol. I have three boys and my oldest is going to be a junior this fall. It is a scary feeling I will admit.
