my girl is the same age she has been potty training for over 2 months now, we have suceeded in weeing but poo's were always in her pants. i dont use pull ups in the day only at bed time as she thinks its a nappie and i used to pee and poo in that so why change, try putting him in pants he may not like the feeling when pooing in pants as for my daughter i left her round the house with no pants on and she WANTED to do a poo in toilet as there was nothing there to ''catch it'' if u like :)
hope this helps :)

Give him time. Most kids start that way. The fact that he pees in the potty at 2and a half is a good start. Most developmental Doctors say as long as they are completely potty trained by the age of 3 and a half then they are not behind. So relax and try offering him a treat for pooping in the potty. Like a container of smarties that he can see and tell him if he tries to go poop in the potty he can have one. Also try to time it right after meal time so he is more likely to suceed.

He's only 2 1/2, that's very young for a boy. He actually doing excellent, so don't be hard on him or yourself :)

all kids are different and they usually have a problem with that my 2 older ones had no problem but my youngest it took forever i think she was 3 ish....Try rewarding him when he finally does :) Put real undies on him that will help since they do not like the feeling or to walk with a buldge in their underwear...it does take time i know it can be frustrating dont give up :)

He'll get there, they all do. Be patient. My daughter was like that for months, and now she's 100% out of pull ups. Don't scold, or pressure him, that can actually cause him to revert.
