My soon-to-be 1 year isn't saying any words...Time to worry yet?

I know around 11 months is when "mama" or "dada" or something else is said. My baby has not uttered anything that remotely sounds like any words. He barely babbles. I had him evaluated when he was 10 months due to not crawling or pulling up. Which he is doing now.

I opted out of the program when my son was caught up gross motor. They determined though, he has a 33% delay in speech that I let go; thinking that he'll catch up like he did before. Should I be calling his program back up and try to get him some development help? Or should I wait? He has a doctor appointment on the 29th.

if you have an appointment on the 29th i would maybe just wait it out and see till then. i know its hard when your baby isnt doing certain things like other peoples babes are.....trust me i was like that with my sons crawling. but they do everything in their own time. if your worried its good that your considering going back to get him evaluated. i hope everything turns out fine and the doctors will give u some kind of answers or atleast some peace of mind!
