Phenula and Dimpna. I knew two sisters of Irish descetn with these names. I thought they were lovely. Also how about Poppy,Rose bud, Summer Rose, Lily (My daughter is called Lily-May Aine ,pronounced Ornya. some people use Mae as in Mae West.) Crystal,Pearl, are also a great names. I'm sure you will make the right choice.

Just think about not giving them names that are too unique. My daughters names are Kaylan and Kiah. Both simple enough, but it's amazing how many people misspell and/or mispronounce them. (pronounced: KAY-lan and KY-yah)

I can see you have alot of suggestions already, your head must be spining. I have 5 daughters Chelsea, Isabelle, Matilda, Georgia, Olivia. I also liked, Grace , Poppy & Charli or. It can be really hard to agree on names which can make it a little difficult.

I like different names but not Hollywood different. My friend's daughter is Justice. I also like Liberty, America and Freedom. Faith and Hope are nice. For a musical twist you could use Melody. Can you tell I have a patriotic heart?

My beautiful daughters name is Isla (Eye-Lah, the s is silent, like in Island) May.

It is a Scottish/Irish name meaning 'From the Strong Place' or 'Light Bearer', which, in retrospect, is so true, she has brought me so much joy & given me so much purpose.

Other names we looked at were

Mina (Mee-Nah)

Audrey

Stella (For Star!)

Taliya (I can't remember the origin, but it means 'young girl')

Vienna (this was my fave, it is the name of a song by The Fray, but hubby hated it as it is a type of Coffee!!!!)

He has always liked the name Laura, but I'm not personally a fan of 'common' names, as I was Sarah Smith until i was married & I love it & my family, but people thought I was making it up it was that common, but if we have another girl, I might just compromise & go Lorelai Ruby (I have recently aquired an obsession with Gilmore Girls & Ruby is my great grandmother's name, it is actually where the Middle name May comes from, which is also mine & my mother's middle names!)

My husband's eldest sister is Deanne & his other sister's best friend from primary school is also Deanne...to continue the confusion when friends came to visit, my hubby's name is Shane & his best mate from high school is Cheyne (pronounced shane!)
