A similar question has been asked before but with first names beginning with "M". I am not expecting baby number two yet but I know the name game is hard and wanted to get a head start on it. My husband and I are looking for names that begin with "C". Our daughters name is Carissa. Any suggestions or ideas would be great for boy or girl. We are trying to stay with uncommon names.

My daughter's name is Cassiauna, pronounced exactly as it looks. I wanted Cassi for a nickname but didn't want Cassidy or Cassandra. I also liked the name Ariauna so I combined the two. So far haven't met another, but I did have it analyzed at the Kablarian name site and you might want to check that out first if you believe in those things. Good luck

A friend of mine named her daughter CADENCE... I think it's beautiful! For a boy... maybe Cory or Corey.

Caryn,

We chose Camaryn Elizabeth for our first daughter.  We changed the spelling, so it would be different.  Other spellings are cameron (gets confused as a boy), kamryn, camryn.

Second daughter Sarah Michele and third is Olivia Grace

I hope that helps.

I forgot to mention my husband's name is Chad. Thought it was rare when I met him 20 years ago, but we know like 6 people with the same name. Mostly men in their late teens and early twenties, or like my husband who is 35.

My son's name is Calvin, he'll be 13 on Saturday he was named after the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes. Only met one other person with the same name and he was 50. My daughter's name is Courtney, not rare but I fell in love with it. If I were to have another child I like Chase - boy or girl.

Hey, my son is named Camden Russell, we call him Camo.  (his daddy is an avid hunter and fisher, so it is fitting that he hopes his son will share his love of the outdoors)  I also know a Cabel, with was one i had never heard before.  We almost named our son Callen, pronounced just like Allen with a C on the front.  Good luck!

My sons name is Caiden, i love it...its popular enough that most have heard of it, but not popular enough that many people have it...and the good thing about it too, is you can spell it soooo many different ways that you can make it somewhat unique to yourself.. the most common way to spell it is Caden. And for a girl i love Charlotte (with the nick name Charlie)
