A similar question has been asked before but with first names beginning with "M". I am not expecting baby number two yet but I know the name game is hard and wanted to get a head start on it. My husband and I are looking for names that begin with "C". Our daughters name is Carissa. Any suggestions or ideas would be great for boy or girl. We are trying to stay with uncommon names.

Our daughter's name is Cara instead of Kara.  She's been the only Cara in her class/school since she went to day care and she's now in 2nd grade.  My friend just named her son Carson.

Chase for a boy, Chloe for a girl. We were going with a "C" name for our baby too. Turned out he was a boy and we named him Chase. I also loved Colton.

My 9-year-old is Colin. He could have been Christian or Carl. When he was learning to write his name, he would sometimes forget the "i", so he was ColN. Which changed to Col-N when he got old enough to laugh at his "rapper" name. tee-hee. If we'd had a girl she would have been Catherine. Cate for short.

I have a Caroline and love the name. I don't know of any other kids with the same name. She was named after her great-grandmother;-) Charlotte is also another nice name.

For boys I like Clint.
