Look on Sittercity.com. It is a wonderful website that you set up a profile on, as do the sitters, and it matches you up with sitters that meet your specific criteria. You can view your matched sitter's profiles and search through others that match your needs before ever speaking with anyone. The people I sit for and I found each other there, as well as their nanny before me (she ended up opening a daycare), and the nanny that filled in while I was out having my son. They've been happy all 3 times. Good luck!
