Thanx everyone for ur help. And to the answers to some of ur questions, it started yesterday (april 3rd) morning when I woke up. I found that laying on my tummy made the burps stop, but as soon as i would raise up they would start again. It got to where i was burping like 20 times within a min. It got bad. I woke up this morning and ate some thick gravy with my breakfast and took some tums. The gravy seemed to help since it was thick and creamy. But it is much better today. Im still burping more than usual but not as bad and the tast is no where near like it was yesterday. And i do have insurance to cover once a year check ups with my OB-GYN and anything to do with my birth controll (merina) but none for things like this. But it seems to be ding better. I dont think it was something i ate because i letterally have the same foods every week (my husband is a picky eater) I do have IBS but it has never caused this, and it always causes constipation. I have pelvic congestion ( vericose veins in the uterus) whick may have caused the cramps and the burps may have just beed acid reflux (which i never had till my 2nd child) But thanx to all of u.

If you're getting repeat bouts of this, it could be gallstones?

Very common condition after child birth, and fits your symptoms, but there's usually quite a lot of pain and breathlessness with the cramping.

Do you have to pay to see a doctor? Wow, I'm glad I live in the UK where we have the NHS!

Try looking up gastro. You'll find it is common n most people get n not know they have it. You'll be fine as long as you keep fluids in to you. Try gastrolite. N for the upset tummy, Raspberry jam n de-gas works well :D If you find that your symptoms are getting worse n you can't keep any thing down then go to your doc, They also be able to prescribe medication to help with the diarrhea. Hope this helps :)

It sounds like a tummy bug. I had exactly the same symptoms last year. It cleared up on it's own, make sure you stay hydrated and wash your hands frequently.

If you go to an OBGYN they usually offer (if not in a hospital) a "green card". It's for women that don't have insurence, and it covers some womens medical check-ups. This sounds like it would be covered under that. Check with your local OB, I'm in San Diego. I could give you the # to my Ob if you are in SD too, if you want it.

Good Luck, Let me know...

Ok I can tell you something from experience. A few years ago I was having a very similar problem. In the beginning it was brought on from a viral infection I had in my intestines. I was burping a horrible smell, had clear/yellow tinge bowel movements that classified as diarrehea. Turns out, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It tooks months to diagnose as I have a mild intolerance to diary, some wheat/grains and other various vegetables. Months after I gave birth I had another similar reaction, and again it was becuase of my IBS was "levelling off" from being pregnant, during my pregnancy I was able to eat as much diary, grains etc as I wanted and was not having a severe reaction to it.

IBS does not have "set" of symptoms as it does have variance between individuals. For my I get more bouts of gas and diarrehea where as my friend gets constipation and severe gut cramps.

Unfortunatley when it comes to the digestive tract there can be so many different causes. From stomach ulcers, gall bladders, bacteria infections, down to IBS, etc and so forth. You might want to consider a BRAT or BRATTY diet(s) to see if any of this helps you. B: banana R: rice A: applesauce T: toast - T: tea Y: yogurt. Its not a pleasant diet but works like a charm to help ease any tummy symptoms going on.

I will add, though, my friend who also has IBS ended up with a severe blood pressure problem because of constipation. I really hope that where ever you live you get help soon.

you might want to put more specific info in your title to this question, cause a lot of times I for one don't open up ones that are so general. Maybe that way the right person will know to open it. Sorry I can't help with your problem though, never had anything like that. Can sympathize with the no insurance; hope you get better soon!

I have and nothing even matches up to what is going on with all symptoms. Its maybe 1 and other things that are no relation to whats going on with me. Thats why im asking here because no medical website is helping and i was going to see if anyone else ever had the same thing so i could maybe get an idea from someone who has experianced it 1st hand

Okay, you can easily BECOME lactose intolerant especially after you've had a baby. I never had gall bladder problems before, but 3 months after I had my daughter I had to have it removed due to stones. You're having SERIOUS gastro symptoms and those CANNOT be ignored. You MUST see a doctor and have tests done.

Ok, well maybe you should google your symptoms so at least you get some kind of idea???

You should look into a local low-cost clinic. You may qualify for some type of medicaid, you never know. Even ask your primary care doctor or go to your local social security office to apply, the worst they can do is say no. I also think it's illegal to drop someone from insurance b/c of pregnancy- I'd look into that if I were you, you could have a case there.

You need to get checked out though, you could have picked up some kind of parasite or have a bacterial infection going on. The belching with smell of eggs could be a bacteria called helicobacter pylori, something that is always present in your stomach but can get out of hand when your immune system is down for a bit. But you need blood and/or stool and an h.pylori breath test to confirm.

A doctor's visit shouldn't run you more than $50-$100 at a regular primary care doctor. If they know you are paying out of pocket, they will usually signicantly reduce their cost and be cautious on what bloodwork or tests they are ordering, to keep the cost down for you. Don't be ashamed to go to your doctor because you don't have insurance. If they are aware you don't have coverage, they aren't going to go ordering super expense stuff for you. At the most, blood work and stool tests might run you another couple hundred bucks.

Also, if you do need labwork, like bloodwork or stool studies- shop around for prices. I work for Laboratory Corp. of American (LabCorp) in NJ and we give a discount to patients with no insurance. Quest Diagnostics labs also has an uninsured patient program called Quest Cares, where they discount as much as 60% off, but you have to pay a like, $10 enrollment fee for the year. Not bad to pay $10 and save hundreds. I used to work for them and it's a good program.

Stay away from hospital out patient labs though, they will rip you off like no tomorrow.

But lady, get yourself in to a doctor!

From the link I just posted, it sounds like you're lactose intolerant. The 'eggy' burping is sulpheric acid, take a look at it.
