My oldest son is Christian Alexander! I've gotten TONS of compliments on it, and we've never met another christian! It's such a strong name =) However, it drives me crazy when people call him Chris......I always say that if I wanted him to be called Chris I would have named him Christopher, Christian in one of those names where although it's long, you gotta say the whole thing =)

I have always liked Sage for a boy or a girl, and also for a boy Jaxson, and call him Jax. There are so many names out there to choose from have fun!

I have a daughter and son. Gabriella (21mnths) and Elijah (6wks). I liked the name Caleb also but there is a Caleb in the extended fam. already. We went with biblical names with good meaning so they can be blessed and walk with confidence. Gabriella (from Gabriel) means "Devoted to God". Elijah means "The Lord is my God.

Your son Dane's name means "Blessed". If you were to go with Caleb it means "Faithfull"

Good luck with the name searching, i know its very hard to decide.

Gracen (aka Grayson), Koehler (aka Coler), Luciano (Luke), Spencer (my son's name), Dario, Seamus, Samuel, Kye, Thad, Ephram, Eli (Elijah)... if you can look up old documents like phone books from early century or registries in the local library. They have tons of old names we never hear or use anymore, and they aren't all archaic or bad!!

Go online and type in your heritage and 'male names' (Irish male names). Also, you could look up sacred places in regard to your ethnic background. That's how I named my daughter; we;re Celts, so I named her Avalon.

I have this really cool book that says that you can guide your childs life just by giving him a strong name. I looked up all the names of people I knew and it was eeeerie! how on the money it was. So look for names that mean wealth luck and happiness. Robert, Richard, Maximus etc. Congrats!
