I was wondering if anyone has found a good website that provides good preschool and 1st grade teaching tools that you can use at home for free. Or a website that has good resources at good deals.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

not free but google five in a row. Get the book list and go to the library or a used book store. Get a used teacher manual. The concept is you read the same book for 5 days each day with a new subject. Counting(Math) Looking at the moon (science) etc.

Quoting Elizabeth:

Absolutely! My son is learning to read from Starfall.com. We have been showing it to him since he was 1 and he still loves it (he is 3.) He thinks it is a game, but he is already reading words and he is only 3. This web site is great!

My four year old loves starfall. He has learned his letters and sounds with it. He can do many of the activities by himself.
