I am going back to work. My daughter is 3 months and my sister is watching her now. However she has a little one as well and its gotten to be too much for her. I need to find a sitter for one or two days only. I do not want to do daycare. Anyone know how to find someone qualified or anyone who can. I live in Middleburg Hts Ohio.

My sister is helping us out, she just cant do all 3 days. Everyone else in the family is working or just not able to care for a infant.

I know in Ontario, Canada we have a government run service whereby people can register their home daycares. Maybe try contacting your local city hall number and see if they know of a similar service. Also, there as some agencies that will help you find qualified people, not sure if there is a fee or not, but I do know some Moms who have found help for even one day a week using them. Good Luck.

I agree about the day care.

I wouldn't put my child in one neither. There are to many children and not enough people around to watch them all. To many accidents happen.

How about someone close to you?

Have you tried posting an add on Kijiji? There are always people looking for work.(childcare providers)

There are alot of really nice girls too.

Good luck though, Hope you find someone. (if I was in the area I'd help out :P )
