My children are Christian Jenner and Caroline Mazzy- we went for a traditional and not traditional name- search your favorite books or music (Jenner is from a book and Mazzy is from a rock band).

Pushing their bent legs into their tummy often helps. When they are little, they don't know to push the gas out on their own. Their bodies actually fight this instinct. Putting their legs up to their tummy/chest will naturally release the gas. We had to use this technique for months with our first child. Mylicon Gas Drops are also very good.

Virginia Mylicon Gas Drops are excellent for gas. Soon after giving to my nephew, he burped within seconds like crazy and was very happy afterwards. They are sold at Wal-Mart and I'm sure all other stores of the liking. However, they also sell the generic brand which works just as well. My nephew was giving the generic brand and it definitely did the trick.

My first always felt better if I tucked her into a wrap(I'm partial to a five yard cloth but anything you can walk and nurse with is good) and went for a walk, and possibly nurse if she wanted. She was usually tired, and the movement would both jostle whatever needed to move through and soothe her. This tended to work for almost anything.
It took me a long time to choose names for both of my kids, but I always felt that the right name would eventually surface. A friend suggested a name that became our daughter's and we found our son's in a book two days before he was born and chose it while holding him in my arms for the first time.

Virgina place your baby on the floor and gentle plus her legs into her tummy and the gas should release some and I would always hold my children in a foot ball hold and rub their back also helped.
For your children names Danica for a girl and for a boy James both go really nice with your last name.

First of all, GOD bless you.  Pregnancy is a gift.

My twin sons are named Jakob Thomas (I just liked the first name but I also made sure his middle name was after his great grandfather because it's a tradition in the family) and his brother is Dallas Steven (his father is Steven Dallas and Dallas is a tradition in the family as well).

I researched about 90 years back in the family history on both  my side and my husband's side to see if any names jumped out at me because it was important to me to explain to my sons and others why I chose the names I did.  Not sure if that's important to you, but if so, look back and see what names run in the family.

hope this helps.

I'm having a boy in April. My husband is black and I'm white so we want a name that isn't too much of either culture...I know that gets to some people but we're not going the "john" route and we're not doing the "D'Shauwn" route either

We like Isaiah and Broderick for boys

Maleah and Evangeline for girls... our 2 yr old daughters name is Amrah
