I had my granddaughter for 11 years and I broke my leg and my daughter took her from me saying I am not able to take care of her. My daughter is so mentally ill that she receives a check from the government. What can I do to get her back? She took her this weekend.

I do not have custody but she gets a disability check because she is mentally ill and she also smokes pot and I can only imagine what else

Do you have a custody order? If so... call the police. If not.... get a lawyer and go to court. If you have proof that you've been caring for her for 11 years you might be able to get custody.
