Hi I am currently potty training my 26 month old. He will ask to use the potty when he is naked almost always. And most of the time when he is wearing just underwear. However if he is fully clothed then he won't even tell me and I find out a little later :) My question is how do I get him to move on to ask while he is fully dressed?

yea it might just be that he hasn't made the same connection when he's clothed! My daughter was doing the same thing, it was like if she was naked she knew to take a potty break once the clothes came off she almost immediately went to the bath room, but when she was dressed she never said she had to go.

That is cute Amber! I am assuming he does as he can tell me when he is naked or wearing just underwear. But it won't hurt for me to explain that to him :) I will try

Does he know what it feels like when he has to go? I mean like before hand? I had to tell my daughter that if her private tickled it meant she had to go pee, it worked she'd come up to me yelling that her private tickled lol.
