i have a 2006 chevy colbalt 2 door, and i have a 2 year old and a 1 year old, me and my husband want all are kids close in age so we wanted to get pregnant again in the next couple months, we didn't want to buy another vehicle right now or trade this one in it will be paid for in 2012, so does anyone have this problem or any suggestions on what kind of cars seat would fit?

Ditto on the Radian seats. You do have to have the center seat facing in the opposite direction of the other two for them to fit though, because the widest widths are too wide to all face the same way (shoulder height). This means you will either need to get a new vehicle by the time the baby you are not pregnant with yet is 2, if you're willing to rear face that long, since none will yet be old enough to ever sit in a front seat (by 5 years for the oldest). If your children end up being on the heavier side, too, it may be a problem as the narrower Radian seats go up to 65 pounds, but there is another that goes to 80 or 90 (just not as narrow).

Check out the Sunshine Kids Radian car seat. We have this one for the convenience of travelling (folds up with a backpack strap) but I think its the most narrow on the market as well http://www.skjp.com/product/97556/165XX/...

I don't know if there are car seats that are narrow. I have a 3 year old and then twins 22 months old. When we were expecting the twins I was searching for a car with 3 LATCH systems or that would fit 3 car seats with out needing to pull one out to get a child in the back. We already had a minivan so I was fortunate that the family could travel in it. We did not find a good solution. So I panic with what would happen if the van broke down. If you do get a suggestions for safe-narrow carseats I'd love to hear about them too.

I don't know about fitting 3 seats in a Cobalt, but I do know that the smallest car that I know of that 3 seats definately fit in is a Honda CRV. My friend had 3 kids under 4 and fit all the seats in the back. Good Luck.

I dont think its safe, and they probaly wont all fit anyways :)
