Try this website, it's www.meetup.com It may sound like a dating site but it's not. I found a great mom's group and they have other things on there as well, like book clubs, workout buddies, families get togethers, making friends and other hobbies. I was going crazy at home and really needed to make some friends for me and my son and a friend of mine told me of this site and I love it. You put in your zip code and it shows you everything that they have in your area or type in what type of group your interested in. Real easy. Hope it works out for you.
