Hello everyone!

It's 2:15 in the morning where I am and I can't sleep because I keep thinking about making lists of things to do tomorrow. (I already have a notebook of lists!) I have been cleaning like crazy for the last two days! My grandmother tells me to be on the watch for labour. Even though I am almost only 35 weeks. I do have this crazy inner feeling 'to get it done' 'do it now' At 11 this evening I was washing and scrubbing my son's building blocks!! lol This is crazy!!!

What is everyone elses story? Did you start labour soon after? Did you polish anything at 3 am? Did you clean so hard you went into labour? lol Was sleep also impossible for you? I would love to hear them!!!

ALright I am going to lay in bed and count the pin and needles in my legs!!

I went into labour at 7pm (10 days early), after spending the whole day cleaning the house from top to bottom. Don't think I've ever had it cleaner! But boy was it nice to come home to!

I baked for 3 days straight. The last day I told my mom I thought I was constipated (again) because I had gas pains. She gave me a look and I knew I was going into labour very soon. Happened 2 hours later actually!

I just want to clean everything and anything! I am even cleaning things are that are already clean. I have always been that way, but I guess I am a little obsessive at the moment. Its all good I am getting plenty of exercise due to give birth in 6 weeks! good luck to everyone else who is due to give birth soon. :)

Clean Freak!!! Rearranging the nursery off and on...Making sure everything was ready and perfect...My first I was in labor 48 hours, the first day I sat and waited for something to happen... The second day I moved around as much as possible.. This baby was coming out!!!! My first was a week late, and my second was a week and a day late.. By that point all I wanted to do was have them in my arms....

I would go to the local consignment shop and buy things a couple times a week. I shopped obsessively for bargains on baby items all throughout the pregnancy. I folded and reorganized clothing several times and then washed and reorganized them again after that. I worked full time up until my 38th week, so I was too exhausted the last two weeks to do much more than organize the clothes - yet again.

I had the urge a few weeks before my daughter was born - just wanted to rearrange the nursery room, make sure everything for her was washed and folded and put away. Made sure there were some easy meals frozen, stuff like that. I'm feeling the same way with my 2nd one (33 weeks right now) and just want to have everything in its place.

Wow...I got the urge to nest the last month of my pregnancy with my son...With this pregnancy, I am nesting at only 19weeks, but I think it's because it feels like 19weeks got here too quick, and there is so much to get done. This little one kind of snuck up on us, and due to many military moves, don't have my sons old stuff and I'm freakin out

Well my baby is now 16 but boy did I have the nesting problem. All 6 times.I was scrubbing floors .Cleaning walls ,doing the laundry packing clothes away, polishing furniture, shopping for food. Just basically turning the house upside down, and then setting everything back in place. But you should take it easy.Do a lot of walking, then sit and put your feet up.

I was up on a step ladder cleaning the top of every curtain rail (madness I don't do that ever) and that night I went into labour with my first!!! With my second I got lots of plastic boxes from Ikea and sorted everything into boxes then made lovely labels for each box with what was in it! If only I had kept it up I gave birth the following morning.

I think I had extreme nesting. I didn't want to bring my baby back to the apartment we were renting. I wanted him to go home to a house. We spent the week before I was due to deliver MOVING! I was supposed to be on partial bed rest, ha!

I thought about it a lot, but never had the urge to do it and never did. I did have huge fat feet though and carpel tunnel in my wrists so I was almost fused to the couch by the end of the pregnancy...

Oh man, I had nesting, but it didn't happen until the night I went into labour. I was DEAD tired all day and had suffered cramping (which, apparently was a few contractions) and all I wanted to do was sleep, but suddenly, there I was....cleaning out all the cabinets in my home and dusting and mopping. That started at around 8 pm and I cleaned until 11. 2 am I woke up and my water had broken.

I definately had the urge but unfortunately we had to move back to my husbands hometown when I was almost 8 months pregnant and we stayed with his mom until we found a place to live so I never got the chance. Right now we are in a two bedroom so our son has one rm and our 7 month old is in our room. So we are now looking for a 3 bedroom. Still have the urge to set up her room for her. I can't wait!

Yep, & everyone benefited, I cleaned my house, which was little at the time, went over & cleaned my inlaws from top to bottom, cleaned my sisters house, had my other family members ringing to see if I was 'charging anything', or could be 'booked in'. Had it with all 3 of my pregnancies, no wonder I was stuffed lol!!

I went out and tried to buy excess stockof cleaningproducts and easy foods so that I wouldnt have to worry about it once the baby arrived (I say tried because I only had enough to buy half of what I put in the cart!) Im sure I must have done other things too but this is the thing I remember - and I realisedI was just nesting but couldnt stop myself anyway :) That weekend I had my daughter.

I was on my hands and knees brushing my stairs the day i was going into hospital to be induced, near the end i wanted to clean all of the time, even bits of my house that didn't need doing.I couldnt sleep for the last 2 months,i was just so uncomfortable,I also ent to the 24hour supermarkets at midnight to walkabout and see if it would bring on my labour.

i didn't experiance nesting. i don't know if that is because i was set up and ready months in advance or because i was supposed to be induced 2 weeks early? however i did go into labour the night before i was booked in to be induced. Yes sleep was impossible! i was uncomfortable and i kept going through everything in my head to make sure i was ready.

i thought nesting was just a myth untill i painted the hall, stairs and landing 2 days before i had my little boy!! i was a bit focused on packing and repacking my hospital bag, i unpacked it just to doublecheck and then rushed to hospital with half of the bits missing!
