Is anyone else irritated at the fact that there are no change tables in the mens washrooms? whenever my husband takes our daughter somewhere he has to change her in the car. I find this ridiculous, there are plenty of dads out there that have their kids without mom around.

I don't know about anyone else...but I really enjoy the fact that they are now putting "family restrooms" in at theme parks and malls. It allows for me to take all the kids in a one time and we all get to stay together without having to alternate children. It even allows for...A DAD TO CHANGE A DIAPER! It's amazing that no one thought of this before! I don't understand why businesses think that women are the only one's who know how to perform this age old act!

I agree. My husband feels less confident taking our daughter out by himself because of this. And he's not the type to go into the ladies washroom to do it, although if I were a guy I'd totally do it.

I agree. When my dad used to take my sister and I out to give my mom time alone he would have to go to the local hospital restrooms to change our diapers. Not much as changed since then. I have been upset because I can't find a Subway restaurant anywhere that has a changing table in either bathroom.

YES! ME TOO! So not fair. I've actually written letters to the local "family" restaurants in our area to voice my complaint - good to know I'm not alone. Our local Chili's doesn't even have changing tables in the women's room either! UUGGHHH my take is: if you have high chairs, you obviously expect babies - so why no changing tables? AND, if you expect babies, you should expect Moms AND Dads to be the ones bringing them there. makes no sense.

I've often had this thought...My husband takes our 9 month-old daughter out by himself a lot to give me some "ME" time. The only places we have found are the local Wal-Mart and the Family Lounge in our local mall. There is a Wendy's in our area that doesn't even have a changing table in the women's room.

So true. . . a friend and veteran mom suggested he change the diapers in the middle of the department store, on the restaurant table, etc, to send a message loud and clear to businesses that their customers would like to have changing tables!

It totally aggrivates me too!!!!!! I get so upset when my hubby doesn't get to change all the diapers when we are out. I can't wait until both our boys are potty trained, and HE'S the one who has to take them to the bathroom!! :)

I am always upset by this. I can never eat a meal or visit along in conversation because my husband "cannot" change diapers when we are out. He has even tried so I can't be upset with him. I have to fully agree with you.
