Oilatum is very very good for the bath. Used it on my son and it was great for his skin. We also had prescription cream from the doctor for more severe outbreaks, but otherwise used Aveno or Grahams Natural Eczema Cream which was also great.

Our daughter has a slight case of ezcema. We bathed her daily and put a humidifier in her room to keep the air moist. We also used eurcerin, and vaseline daily and aquafor (check spelling) for more severe skin issues. My daughter is 5 now and she doesn't have skin issues at all. When you are using these products rub them into the skin well. Hopefully this will help you.

Remember eczema can be an allergic reaction. Try ruling out what is causing it. It could be a food or something touching her skin. Lanoline is a common baby allergy and is found is most lotions and creams. Check your baby wipes.. if there is lanoline and you have no diaper rash issues then its not that. As for foods... did you introduce something new around when the rash started. Also watch what you are feeding and if it gets worse. My youngest trigger is apples. He came home saturday from City kidz with the tell tale rash on his face. Got to love juice boxes with hidden apple juice in it!!

prevex cream is good too...it works as a water barrier and stops the skin from drying out even more!

If you suspect it's eczema then you need to stop bathing her daily. Eczema is aggravated by being dried out. Also, take her to the doctor who will be able to tell you if it IS indeed what you think. There are special creams for it.

my baby boy has eczema i am getting oillatum bath oil and cream pescribed from the doctors on repeat pescription. these are working really well on some of the spots where it looks like blisters the doc gave me hydrocortisone cream but told not to use a lot as it has steroids in....

i would suggest going the docs as they can pescribe things so you dont have to buy it all the time.

Eucerin cream works really well. Also, bath them every other day and reapply your lotion or creams often.

Eczema does suck. But if the worst thing that is wrong with your child is some dry skin, I think you'll be happy.

But I know what you mean. Not only is it unsightly and marring, its uncomfortable for the child and can be embarassing.
