hi ya :) am just wondering is anyone else going through this have have only one child which she is 2.5 yrs and i will be turning 24yr in few weeks but since i had her i was always feeling tired but in the past few months its bn gettin worse lik i would wake up in de mornin and couldnt wait ta get ta bed again that night? i am a single mam and have my daughter all the time all my family does work and that and my mam wouldnt be fit too look after her now i do get her minding every now and then if i have something on but but even then when i do get her minded i do wish i could stay in bed and relax but then its like as soon as she gets picked up i get this burst of energy like when i dont have her thats the part that is confusing me why when i want the energy to play and have fun with my little one i dont but when she is away i feel like i can do anything???? can anyone please help me out? thanks :) xx

Also, have a look at your diet. A diet high in simple carbohydrates can make you tired.

You could be low on iron or Vitamin D, or any number of other things. It may be worth going to get a blood test to check for these things. It might be as simple as needing a supplement. I know when I am low on iron, I am continually exhausted.

i was thinking that but think i got me bloods done wee while back think they came back clear but i get it checked again just the be sure can ye get vitamin d in a supplement ta take as here in ireland even in summer we rarely see the sun lol :)

If your daughter is 2 1/2, it wouldn't still be your iron levels from that - your hemoglobin replaces itself over a 3 month period. I would still suggest you get tested, because you CAN take too much iron, and if it isn't your iron levels, you shouldn't take iron tablets. Also, try to get as much sunshine as you are able - this can boost your seratonin, and lack of seratonin can make you feel tired, as can lack of Vitamin D. Sunshine whenever it is available is a positive thing :)

thanks Jodi :) i'll look into getting a supplement it actually could be my iron now that i think of it as i lost alot of blood when having my little one and didnt really stick to the iron :/ but thought by now i wouldnt need it lol thanks a mill :)
