Talk to your DOCTOR about what you can and cannot do. They are the ones that can take an ultrasound and look at the state of your uterus. Seriously ,the external and internal numbness is not a good indication on the health of your uterus. Usually you can do what you are used to doing unless medically there is something wrong. They most likely will put a limit on how much weight you can pick up. But once again, all this is determined by your internal health.

You will feel the baby once he/she is about 24 weeks in utero. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later. Your incision numbness will have nothing to do with it. I was STILL numb at my incision and I could feel plenty with my second. When they do the ultra sound, that area is especially sensitive, so speak up it they are hurting you. I had to plenty of times. Sometimes they just don't realize.

I had my son two years ago by c-section and my OB-GYN and her nurses said that sometimes the feeling never comes back. I still have a strip from my belly button down to my pubic bone that it numb. They said that they cut along a lot of nerve endings and some never heal and that's what causes the numbness. One of her nurses said she had a c-section fifteen years ago and still had no feeling.

i had my first c section 7 years ago, and when i got pregnant with my youngest almost 3 years ago, i was still numb. but it did not affect me feeling my baby. i also had a c section with him, and i am still numb from that one and he will be 2 in a couple weeks. ive just gotten used to it.

it takes a while for your scar to heal, althou the body is amazing and is up for the job in hand, my advice dont do too much, dont be carryin anythin heavy, just go at a slow pace, enjoy ur lil one, eat healthy, sleep when bubs sleeps, have long relaxin baths, pamper urself cos wen no 2 is born u wont have time to blow ur nose.... congratulations to you and ur lil growin family :)

I am still numb six months and one baby later. Just have your doctors watch you closely. You are pregnant awfully soon after your c section.
