okay so my 15month old keeps putting her hands in her mouth and makes herself throw up... why is does she do that? and can it be prevented?

my daughter keeps putting her hand into her mouth and forcing her self to throw up. i do everything, pushing her hands away from her mouth, giving her something to eat or to play with. i mean my grandmother told me to put hot sauce on her finger, but im not that mean. so what should i do?

This is absolutely normal and she will grow out of this stage just keep telling her to get her hands out of her mouth. My daughter did this and our pediatrician told me that she is just discovering her body and this is a new feeling for her to discover.
